Tottenham forward Son Heung-min was sent off with over 20 minutes left in the London derby clash at Tottenham Stadium on Sunday evening, as Chelsea got the three points following a 2-0 win.

Mourinho was clearly disappointed with Rudiger and claims that the Chelsea defender was responsible for the red card handed over to Son after the two players tangled each other on the ground before Son tried to kick out at Rudiger.

Meanwhile, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has come in support of his German international and believes that there was nothing Rudiger could have done about the incident and insists it was a red card.

The Chelsea boss said: “It was a red card. I don’t know how much you’re supposed to make of something like that. Son is a great player, and from the outside seems like a great person, but sometimes in football you have instinctive moments that happen, a bit of a reflex, especially when you’re having it really tough, and it was that moment.

“I will not have any word said about how Toni Rudiger dealt with that.”
