Tottenham are now just three points behind Chelsea following their 2-1 victory over Wolves on Sunday and Chelsea’s 1-0 defeat to Bournemouth on Saturday.
Chelsea must avoid losing to Tottenham next weekend to avoid dropping out of the top four.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has hinted he is ready to ring the changes ahead of next weekend’s game against Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham.
Lampard revealed after the game against Bournemouth on Saturday that he has enough options for him to be able to shuffle his pack against Tottenham.
“Yeah I do at the moment, so it’s something I always look at it,” said Lampard when asked if he has the squad depth required to rotate effectively.
“Players have to show they can come in and make the difference, particularly in a moment like now.”
