The Blues can sign players in January after the Court of Arbitration for Sport lifted the transfer ban imposed on the club by FIFA.

Just one day after the transfer ban was lifted, Chelsea surprisingly lost 3-1 to Everton on Saturday at the Goodison Park despite the Merseyside club being in the bottom three before kick-off.

Chelsea were poor in the defeat to Everton with fans blasting Kepa Arrizabalaga, Cesar Azpilicueta and Andreas Christensen for their performances against Everton. Some fans have even suggested the Blues sign replacements in January.

Despite the shocking defeat to Everton, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard insists he isn’t thinking yet about replacing any player in January.

Asked if he thinks he might need to freshen things up in the January transfer window after the loss to Everton, Lampard said: “Not yet.”
