According to Arsenal legend Paul Merson, Manchester United can beat Chelsea to the top four spot this season.

The gap between Chelsea and Manchester United have been reduced to five points following back-to-back victories over Tottenham and Manchester City for Manchester United. Chelsea lost 3-1 at Everton on Saturday.

The ex-Arsenal man told Sky Sports: “Can Manchester United catch Chelsea in fourth? 100 per cent.

“There’s a long way to go. Chelsea are a young side and are going to have their ups and downs.”
