Chelsea are among the top clubs scrambling for the signature of Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund.

Sancho’s contract is due to expire in 2022 and Dortmund are aware of his desire to play in the Premier League.

The 19-year-old is valued at £100m, but it now seems that the German side can choose to sell him at the end of the season following their capture of Erling Haaland.

The 19-year-old Norway international has joined the German side on a deal until 2024 for just £17.1m after impressing with Austrian side RB Salzburg.

According to BBC Sport’s Simon Stone, Dortmund will be open to selling Sancho in the summer.

The Athletic however claim that Chelsea will wait until the summer to sign Sancho.

Lampard is a huge admirer of the England international but the Blues are keen not to make a panic buy in January and are happy to wait until the end of the season when he will be available.

The 19-year-old, who moved to Germany in 2017, has scored 22 goals in 61 appearances for the German club.
