Tammy Abraham went off with a hip injury in the 2-2 draw against Valencia in the Champions League clash last week.
Abraham missed Chelsea’s last game against West Ham as Olivier Giroud started in his place, as the Blues were beaten 1-0 at home.
Lampard had revealed before the Hammers game that he still doesn’t know how long Abraham will be sidelined.
Meanwhile, football reporter Simon Johnson has revealed that Tammy Abraham gave hint that he could feature in the midweek game against Aston Villa.
He tweeted: “Just seen Abraham – asked if he’ll be fit for Aston Villa, he replied with a nod, a smile. Then said ‘Hopefully’. Sounds pretty likely. At least there is some good news for Chelsea today.”
Asked whether Abraham will be fit for Aston Villa clash, Lampard said: “We’ll find out Monday or Tuesday. He needs to get outside and move a little bit outside over the next two days.”
