Willian was the star of the game as Chelsea defeated Tottenham 2-0 at the Tottenham Stadium.

In what was supposed to be a difficult derby clash, Frank Lampard got his tactics spot on, and Willian was the man of the match.

The Brazilian scored the first from a quick corner, taking the corner quickly with the Choir disappointed.

“I am happy with the two goals but the most important thing is to win the game,” the 31-year-old said according to the BBC.

“We did brilliant today. I think Spurs expected us to put the ball in the box for the first goal but we did not and by going short we caught them out and it worked. The team’s mentality was perfect.

“I think now we have to keep doing the same. We cannot go up and down, we need to carry on and stay at the top of our form.”

The gap between Chelsea and Tottenham has increased to six points, while United are seven points behind.
