Chelsea fans have been celebrating the news of the club’s transfer ban that has been lifted.

Indeed, it was a strange summer for Chelsea as the Blues weren’t able to make any signings during the summer transfer window.

Although Frank Lampard has been able to manage the squad very well and the Blues are very competitive under the former Chelsea midfielder, back to back defeats against Manchester City and West Ham has shown that Chelsea must strengthen the squad in order to compete in the Champions League and also for a top four finish.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has now lifted the transfer ban placed on the club by FIFA.

According to The Telegraph, Chelsea are bracing themselves for a stunning £150m spending spree in January.

Chelsea have enough resources to sign players after the club sold Eden Hazard for a hefty fee of £88m during the summer. David Luiz and Alvaro were also sold by the club and the Blues weren’t able to make any signings.

Roman Abramovich is said to be impressed with the work Lampard has done so far and is ready to splash the cash in the January transfer window if necessary.

Lampard is said to be an admirer of Leicester City defender Ben Chiwell, and the Blues have also been linked with Wilfried Zaha, Jadon Sancho and in-form RB Salzburg striker Erling Haaland.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
