Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha is one of the names that have been linked with a move to Chelsea.
The Blues can now step up plans to sign Zaha now that the transfer ban has been lifted, and Zaha remains eager for a new challenge and wants to test himself at a top Premier League club.
Palace refused to sell Zaha to Everton and Arsenal during the summer, and reports claim that Crystal Palace will refuse to budge on their £80million asking price for the Ivorian star.
With Willian and Pedro nearing the end of their Chelsea contracts, Chelsea would need to sign a replacement for them.
Former Crystal Palace manager Ian Holloway believes Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha would be a fantastic signing for Chelsea ahead of the January transfer window.
“I think he would be fantastic over there [at Chelsea],” Holloway told talkSPORT.
“I don’t want Palace to lose him, but in reality, he is going to have to go.
“I would love to see him in that sort of team. I don’t want to upset them [Palace fans], but I am only looking and I think he is improving all the time. I see that end product from him, and I just love him.
“He is one of my favourite players ever because I’ve never seen anyone do what he can do.”
