A victory over Lille was needed to ensure progression to the last-16 and despite former striker Loic Remy setting up a nervy finish, Chelsea did enough to earn a 2-1 win over the French side.
Tammy Abraham scored Chelsea’s first inside 20 minutes after a fine play from Chelsea winger Willian. Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta scored Chelsea’s second from a corner-kick.
According to Whoscored, Chelsea winger Willian was Chelsea’s best player in the 2-1 victory over Lille on Tuesday night at Stamford Bridge.
Willian created three goalscoring chances against Lille, with one of those chances converted by Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham. He made 60 passes and had a pass completion rate of 75 percent.
Willian also completed 7 dribbles against Lille, had four attempts on goal and was fouled twice. He also won one tackle.
