The Blues are playing Champions League football this season after a one-year absence from the competition.
Chelsea played Europa League football last season and banked in the region of £23million for winning the competition.
Chelsea are already reaping the rewards of playing Champions League football this season as the Blues have almost trebled our earnings in the Europa League last season despite just being in the round of 16 of the Champions League.
According to Football London, Chelsea have pocketed €66million already from our Champions League participation, which equates to just under £60million.
A win in the Champions League earns a team €2.7million and a draw €900,000, which means the Blues have earned €11million from their three wins and two draws which includes a portion of a separate pot that is pooled together.
Chelsea will also receive €15.25million for participating in the group stage of the Champions League. The Blues will also receive €9.5million for reaching the round of 16 and €20million in coefficient money.
The Blues will be hoping to beat Bayern Munich and progress further in the Champions League to ensure we earn more cash from the Champions League.
