Serie A club Inter Milan have submitted a bid for Chelsea left-back Marcos Alonso, according to reports in Italy.
Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset claims Inter have made a loan with obligation to buy offer for the 29 year old left-back.
Chelsea have been offered €6 million to loan Alonso to Inter Milan for the rest of the season. The Serie A club have also offered to pay a further €15 million to sign Alonso up on a permanent basis at the end of the season.
Inter Milan’s offer of €21 million for Alonso falls short of Chelsea’s €25 million valuation of the Spaniard and it now remains to be seen if Inter’s offer will be enough to convince the Blues to part ways with Alonso.
Alonso joined Chelsea from Fiorentina in 2016 and has made 14 appearances for the Blues across all competitions this season, scoring once and providing three assists.
