Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha is one of the players to have been linked with the Blues as attention turns to the January transfer window, which opens in less than two weeks.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is keen on adding a winger to the squad in January.
According to former Crystal Palace star John Salako, Chelsea can tempt Crystal Palace into selling Zaha in January by offering Olivier Giroud plus cash for Zaha.
“They could do a great little swap, though,” Salako told Love Sport Radio.
“Palace have got their eyes on [Olivier] Giroud, and that would be fantastic – Giroud plus money! If Palace get the right offer, they could be tempted.
“Wilfried definitely has the ability [to play for Chelsea], and no Palace fan can begrudge him if he wants that move.”
