Chelsea were unable to sign players during the summer but the Blues will be able to sign players in the January transfer window after the Court of Arbitration for Sport lifted the transfer ban.

Chelsea’s transfer ban being lifted by CAS is bad news for Manchester United as the Red Devils are also interested in some of Chelsea’s transfer targets.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly interested in at least two players Frank Lampard is also keen on signing.

Leicester City left-back Ben Chilwell is reportedly Chelsea’s top target and Solskjaer is also keen on signing the left-back. Chilwell was reportedly on United’s shortlist during the summer transfer window but a move for the left-back failed to materialise.

Another player both clubs are eyeing is Borussia Dortmund and England winger Jadon Sancho.

The 19 year old winger is reportedly keen on leaving Borussia Dortmund in January after failing out with Lucien Favre.

Dortmund want a massive £100million for Sancho and Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is reportedly willing to meet Dortmund’s asking price for Sancho.

The Blues are now favourites to sign Sancho with the 19 year old winger keen on playing together with Callum Hudson-Odoi and Tammy Abraham at Chelsea.
