A bizarre incident happened between Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger and Blues goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga late in the game against Arsenal on Sunday.
Chelsea had come from behind to lead Arsenal 2-1 when Rudiger had a row with Kepa.
With Arsenal searching for an equaliser, Rudiger thumped a ball out of play despite being under no pressure, with acres of space around him.
Rudiger had plenty of time and space to play the ball back to his goalkeeper or even control it, but rather handed possession straight back to Arsenal with his clearance to the dismay of his teammates.
His teammates were trying to instruct him to play the ball to Kepa but Rudiger didn’t get the message and seemed to be annoyed with the lack of communication from his keeper. Rudiger then blasted the Spaniard afterwards for failing to be commanding at the back.
Fortunately for the Blues, they could hold on to the victory, and Rudiger and Kepa made up at the end, as they hugged each other after the referee’s final whistle.
Chelsea fans also reacted to the incident between the duo.
