Chelsea are keen to extend the contract of Tammy Abraham but contract talks with the 22 year old striker has stalled, according to Goal.
Abraham is reportedly refusing to sign a new contract with Chelsea because he wants to be paid the same amount as Callum Hudson-Odoi.
Hudson-Odoi has the potential to earn £180,000 a week and Abraham feels he should be on at least the same amount according to Goal. Hudson-Odoi’s salary is heavily incentivised, however, which means he has to hit a series of targets in order to earn that amount.
Abraham has emerged as Chelsea’s undisputed main striker this season. He has scored 14 goals in all competitions for the Blues including the winner against Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday.
Chelsea have already agreed new contracts this season for Hudson-Odoi, Mason Mount, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Fikayo Tomori, Billy Gilmour and Jamie Cumming.
