Four Chelsea players could miss Saturday’s FA Cup game against Hull City.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard confirmed on Friday that Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham will miss the game against Hull City after picking up an injury in the 2-2 draw against Arsenal on Tuesday night.
“The good news is he hasn’t fractured anything,” Lampard said. “We were worried about a small fracture or a hairline fracture. He hasn’t got that. We have to see how it develops. It’s not a clear-cut one.
“He’s not fit for this weekend. Whether he will be fit for Leicester after that I’m still not sure. I haven’t got the news for you. It’s not clear at the moment.”
Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic is also expected to miss the game against Hull City with an adductor problem.
Reece James will be doubtful due to the knee injury that kept him out of the Arsenal clash while Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek remains a long-term absentee.
