According to the Naples newspaper Corriere del Mezzogiorno, Chelsea have made contact with the agent of Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
The 28 year old Senegalese international is reportedly valued at around £100 million by Napoli and a deal for the Senegalese would make him the most expensive defender in the world.
Chelsea currently have Antonio Rudiger, Fikayo Tomori, Kurt Zouma and Andreas Christensen but adding Koulibaly to the squad will definitely improve a Chelsea defence that has struggled this season.
Chelsea aren’t the only Premier League club interested in signing Koulibaly. London rivals Tottenham Hotspur have also made contact with the agent of the 28 year old.
