Chelsea left-back Baba Rahman has spent the season on loan with Real Mallorca, but the Ghana international is yet having another injury ravaged season.
Baba Rahman’s problem started in 2017 Africa Cup of Nations as he ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament in the left knee, and he has never fully recovered from that.
Rahman has made just 21 appearances in the last 36 months, after a loan spell at Schalke 04, Stade de Reims, and now Mallorca, and has spent a bulk of his career trying to recover from injury.

This setback is just the latest knee problem the Ghanaian has suffered in the last three years as he now needs surgery to be performed on both knees.
The left-back looked to be on the right track for recovery towards the end of last season, while at Reims, and he signed a new three-year Chelsea contract and was loaned out to Mallorca for the season.
With this latest problem, Mallorca are set to terminate the season-long loan deal and allow Baba to recuperate back “home” with Chelsea.
