According to Portuguese publication A Bola via Daily  Mail, Chelsea have been put on alert after FC Porto Brazilian left-back Alex Telles signalled his desire to leave the Portuguese club.

The 27-year-old’s current contract expires in 2021 and he has told Porto he has no desire of extending his contract as he wants to take up a new challenge.

Despite being an important player for the Portuguese club, Porto are reportedly likely to sell Telles sooner rather than later to avoid losing him on a free.

Telles has made 27 appearances for Porto this season, who are second in the Portuguese league, seven points behind Benfica.
