Chelsea goalkeeper Jamal Blackman joined up with his new Bristol Rovers team-mates last week after leaving the club for yet another loan spell. The 26-year-old was thrown straight in for his debut against fellow League One mid-table side Fleetwood on Saturday. The goalkeeper impressed massively with a good display and an eye-catching save to tip one shot onto the post helping secure a point for his side in a goalless draw.

In other loan round up, Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko was part of a Monaco side that was beaten 3-1 at home by Strasbourg, with Bakayoko lasting 90 minutes on the pitch.

In the Serie A, Mario Pasalic had a cameo appearance for Atalanta as they won 7-0 at Torino to maintain their push for a Champions League spot.

In Spain, Chelsea left-back loanee Baba Rahman was part of the Real Mallorca side which lost 3-1 against Real Zaragoza to bow out of the Copa Del Rey on Tuesday night.

In the English Championship, Jake Clarke-Salter was involved in a pair of draws for Birmingham City this week, which came in different competitions and, technically, in away games.

Two Chelsea loanees Conor Gallagher and Marc Guehi were involved for Swansea City away at Stoke, and the Welsh side remain just outside the play-off places following a 2-0 defeat.

Matt Miazga wore the captain band for Reading in the fourth round of the Cup against Cardiff City. However, he wore the captain’s armband for 66 minutes in the 1-1 draw at home to Cardiff City and was then carried off with an ankle injury.
