Chelsea legend Joe Cole was in the BT Sports studio for the live coverage of Hull City vs Chelsea and the former winger took the opportunity to troll Arsenal and Manchester United.

Also in the BT Sport studio with Cole was former Hull star David Meyler, who was part of the Tigers’ side that got all the way to the FA Cup final in 2014.

Hull almost pulled off one of the biggest cup final upsets of all time as they led Arsenal 2-0 at halftime but they conceded three second half goals to lose the game.

While discussing Hull City’s FA Cup final against  Arsenal, former Hull City star Meyler revealed he noticed Arsenal players with their “laces undone” in the tunnel ahead of kick-off, which gave Hull the boost they needed to start the game on the front foot – thinking Arsenal were not taking it seriously and expecting to win no matter what.

When Meyler suggested Arsenal were used to winning trophies, Cole cut him short and brutally trolled Arsenal by saying: “Hold on, it’s Arsenal, they weren’t that used to it!

“They [Hull] were 2-0 up, I was loving it!”

Cole also trolled Manchester United ahead of their FA Cup game against Tranmere Rovers on Sunday.

Cole added: “That attitude in the FA Cup is why we have shocks and I hope Man United turn up like that tomorrow!”
