Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante has been named in the EA Sports FIFA Team of the Year for the third time in a row.

The team of the year was made from a shortlist of 55 best players in the world, and Kante is the only Chelsea player in the team.

Kante is one of seven Premier League players to make the final eleven.

Check out the final team below: Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, Matthijs de Ligt, Andrew Robertson, N’Golo Kante, Frenkie de Jong, Kevin de Bruyne, Sadio Mane, Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi.

Kante deserves to be in the team after an awesome season where he helped the Blues win the Europa League.

Meanwhile, Kante believes that Chelsea can do well in the Champions League this season.

“It was always our target to do well in the Champions League,” he said. “We knew that today was a big game for us and it would have a big influence on the rest of our season so to continue in this competition is a big target for us.

“For the young players, for all the team and for the club, to play against the big teams and try our best is a big chance for us. We need to believe that we can achieve something great, work for that and do our best.”

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
