Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has been urged to complete an ‘unbelievable’ January transfer deal for PSG striker Edinson Cavani.
This is according to Chelsea legend Joe Cole, who believes signing the PSG striker would be an ‘unbelievable’ piece of business.

The Uruguayan striker has been one of the most prolific goalscorers in Europe over the past decade, scoring a staggering 198 goals in 292 appearances for PSG.
“Chelsea only got the transfer ban lifted in December but I think Roman’s pockets might be burning a bit,” former Chelsea and England midfielder Cole told BT Sport.
“He will want to spend some money. But it’s important that you get the right players. Who’s available in January?
“There’s talk of Cavani. I think if you can get him through the door that would be unbelievable.
“If Frank takes this Chelsea team to fourth in his first opportunity in the Premier League then that’s an unbelievable job.
“If you can get the right player, sure, but there’s no need to panic because the lads are doing great.”
He is too old
That’s like saying Tammy is too young. I’d have him on an 18 month deal but I reckon he will end up at atletico Madrid.
