Jose Mourinho has shown intent to strengthen the Tottenham squad as Spurs have gone on to sign Steven Bergwijn – their third signing in the January transfer window.
The 22-year-old has signed up for Spurs for £27million from PSV Eindhoven – the same fee Tottenham paid Real Betis to complete Giovani Lo Celso’s permanent deal. Spurs have also signed Gedson Fernandes from Benfica in an 18-month loan deal.
Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham has also reacted to the signing by commenting on his Instagram post which he captioned “First session”.
Meanwhile, Chelsea fans are discontented with the club’s transfer dealings this January transfer window. The Blues have been unable to sign any player despite having being linked with many transfer targets.
