Chelsea boss Frank Lampard isn’t convinced with his options at left-back and is keen on signing a new left-back, either now or at the end of the season.

Chelsea’s first choice target for the left-back position is Leicester City left-back Ben Chilwell but Gosens is seen as an alternative if the Blues fail to sign Chilwell.

Interest in Gosens is increasing with scouts from Olympique Lyon and RB Leipzig watching the left-back in Atalanta’s 7-0 victory over Torino, a game in which he scored.
