Chelsea left-back Emerson Palmieri is attracting interest from Inter Milan, with his recent Chelsea form below expectations.
Blues boss Frank Lampard has had to play right-back Cesar Azpilicueta in a left-back role because of the team’s failing in the left-back position.
According to reports, Inter Milan are ready to make an offer for the Italy international defender, and Inter appear to be the front-runners to sign the former Roma full-back, but Lampard will only sell if he signs a new left-back in January.
Meanwhile, Chelsea insider Nizaar Kinsella has claimed that Emerson doesn’t want a return to the Serie A but is ready to fight for his spot in the Chelsea team.
Emerson has managed 15 appearances for the Blues this season, with just one assist.
The 25-year-old joined Chelsea on a four-and-a-half-year contract in January 2018 from Roma, but has struggled to maintain a regular shirt under Maurizio Sarri and now Frank Lampard.
