Chelsea defeated Hull City 2-1 at the KCOM Stadium on Saturday evening to go through to the fifth round of the FA Cup.
It wasn’t an easy win for Chelsea despite dominating large spells of the game. The Blues had gone ahead through Michy Batshuayi early in the first half but couldn’t add another in the first half of the game. Hull City came out smoking in the second half before Fikayo Tomori scored the second goal to calm nerves.
Chelsea then conceded late in the game from a set piece to further add more pressure to the Chelsea team who have the habit of conceding late goals.
Former Blues boss Glenn Hoddle said after the game that he worries for Chelsea as the Blues do not know how to finish off games.
He told BT Sport: “I worry about Chelsea sometimes because they do make things hard for themselves.
“They were totally in control of the game but they didn’t kill Hull off and in the end they’re hanging on.
“It’s becoming a pattern now. Against a better opposition they probably would have drawn or lost that game. They’ve got to put it right.
“I always think teams are in the game against Chelsea. The game is never dead. They have to put that right as a team.”
