Former Chelsea youngster and Blues’ Academy graduate Jeremie Boga has revealed he still has a lot of friends at Stamford Bridge and he misses his time at the club.

The 23-year-old left Chelsea on a permanent deal in 2018 to Sassuolo for a fee of £2.5m after making just one appearance for the club.

Boga has now revealed that he’s proud of how far the Chelsea youngsters have come and that he has managed to handle how much he used to miss the club.

“During the first years away, I missed Chelsea. I actually spent ten years there,” the 23-year-old said, as quoted by The Sun.

“I still keep in touch with many Chelsea players. For example, Kurt Zouma, Michy Batshuayi, Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori.

“I am very proud of what they’re doing this season. It was hard at first but now I feel much better. I learned how to handle it.”

Boga joined the Chelsea Academy in 2009 at the age of 12. In 2015, the Ivory Coast international started his senior career. Boga made his competitive Chelsea debut on the opening day of the Premier League season before the end of August 2017 after impressing in pre-season.

Sadly for Boga, just 14 minutes into the match, Chelsea skipper Gary Cahill was sent off for a dangerous tackle and he had to be subbed off.
