Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has admitted that the club might not make any signings this transfer window, and has said so in his press conference ahead of the Chelsea game with Leicester City.
On transfer deadline day, Lampard has said that Chelsea’s chances of not making any signing stand at 95 percent, despite the club being linked with a number of targets.
The Blues boss made it clear that signing a striker was his priority, but admits his frustration that a deal couldn’t be completed.
The Chelsea manager said: “The window is probably 95 per cent shut for us and no ins means no outs.
“I know there are hours left of it but the answer would be no to most of the players we’ve been linked with.
“I wouldn’t say it’s been frustrating as I’m very aware of how football is. Some things are not in my control so my first thought is always what happens on the training pitch. It’s clear we wanted to bring players in and I’ve made that pretty clear over the last weeks but it hasn’t happened.”
Chelsea is for fans not for you aline Lampard, don’t be stubborn, we need martines in, and clean up your silly strike oli , you failed to sign a left defensive, and know you’re busy munplate the team, that we’ve supported for long…
you knows already how tough we been struggling to book our place to CHAMPION’S league, and we still stuck on position 4 , so if we happen not to qualify for next champion league then we probably put a blame on you…
Dont blame Frank for lack of signings Mertens refused to come until the summer. The rest were out of his control… Leave him alone to do his job …
