Chelsea rivals Arsenal are currently far off the battle for top four as the Gunners are currently 10th in the league and ten points off Chelsea.
The Blues laboured hard to beat Arsenal 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium last month as the Gunners dominated the first-half of the game.
Despite the huge gap separating the two sides, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has chosen not to rule out Arsenal from top four race and believes that if the Gunners can pull together a good run of results, then they’d be back in the race.
The Chelsea manager said: “I wouldn’t say they will be out of it if we win, not with this season. I think any team that puts strong runs together, the picture can change very quickly.
“We know they are a competitor and we know they are some points behind us, but we know that if they beat us they will feel they can close the gap on us. So we know the seriousness of what it is, that’s why I think it’s better not to look around too much at other teams and just worry about yourself.”
