The Blues have been linked with a January move for Lyon striker Moussa Dembele with Chelsea boss Frank Lampard keen on signing a striker to provide competition for Tammy Abraham.
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has sent another Dembele transfer message to Chelsea.
According to Aulas, Lyon haven’t changed their stance on Dembele and won’t let the 23 year old striker leave.
“We have not changed our minds. We already made this issue clear in August,” said Aulas.
“Moussa is an excellent player. A player who we need.
“We are taking explicit measures in our recruitment to not bring someone in who will compete for his position.
“It is not a question of money. Moussa will be with us.”
