Kepa: Made a number of quality saves to keep his side in the game but could do nothing to prevent Jahanbakhsh’s stunning overhead kick. 7/10
Reece James: Had a good start to the game but didn’t maintain the same quality. His deadly crosses were also missing today. 6/10
Zouma: Solid performance from the Frenchman as he barely put a foot wrong. 6/10
Rudiger: Was solid for most of the game but momentary lapses late in the game opened the Chelsea defence to concede that goal. 6/10
Azpilicueta: Played at left-back and did his bit to help Chelsea get a win as he pounced on a rebound early in the game to put his side in front. Unfortunately, Chelsea conceded a late goal. 7/10
Jorginho: Was at his usual best in the first half as Chelsea dictated most of the game. He struggled in the second period as the Blues could hardly cope with the home team’s intensity. 6/10
Kante: This is one of those games where Kante had little impact going forward. However, his energy in midfield helped the team. 6/10
Mount: Worked hard for the team but lacked quality in the final third. 6/10
Pulisic: Looked to be a threat at times but seemed to have lost his steam at some point in the game. 6/10
Willian: Wasn’t at his best today as Chelsea lacked creativity upfront. 6/10
Tammy Abraham: Played a part in the first goal as Azpilicueta pounced on his rebound to put Chelsea in front. Refused to pass the ball to Willian for him to score in the first half and that decision proved costly. 5/10
Hudson-Odoi: Was Lampard’s first change as he came on for Pulisic in the 74th minute but he failed to take advantage of the opportunity. Had one good chance but struck his shot over the bar. 5/10
Kovacic: Came on for Mount but didn’t add anything to the game as he looked below par.
