Chelsea are through to the fifth round of the FA Cup as the Blues defeated the Tigers 2-1 at the KCOM Stadium.

Goals from Michy Batshuayi and Fikayo Tomori gave Chelsea a comfortable 2-0 cushion, but a 78th minute free-kick from Kamil Grosicki which took a wicked deflection from Mateo Kovacic gave the Tigers an opportunity to bounce back into the game.

Caballero: Did nothing wrong all game as he was barely tested. Would be disappointed to concede that goal. 6/10

Azpilicueta: Was exciting in his role at right-back as he kept bombarding the right flank. Played a key role in Michy Batshuayi’s opener. 7/10

Zouma: Decent performance from the centre-back. Looked a bit unsettled when Hull City started to cause some scare in the second-half. 6/10

Tomori: Had a good game at the back and went ahead to score the second goal that made the team comfortable in the second half. 7.5/10

Alonso: Gave Bowen the opportunity to run at him some times. Decent game but didn’t impose himself down the left flank. 6/10

Kovacic: Bossed the midfield especially in the first half as Chelsea completed dominated Hull. Played the Jorginho role to good effect, and his runs from deep was awesome. Got lost early in the second half as Hull pressed for the first time in the game. However, he didn’t stand firm on the wall as his deflection gifted Hull with a goal. 8/10

Barkley: Had some good moments in the game and was at times sloppy. Decent game nevertheless. 6/10

Mount: Worked really hard and impressed when on the ball with some good driving runs. 6.5/10

Hudson-Odoi: Was very dangerous on the flank as he kept troubling Hull’s left-back. Always threatened whenever he had the ball. 7/10

Pedro: Seemed very rusty and was poor on the ball at times. His decision making as well was off at times. 5/10

Batshuayi: Scored an early goal to help the team. Looked lively but some of his link-up play was below par. 7/10

Willian: Didn’t add much to the game after replacing Mount on the 68th minute. 5/10

Gilmour: Very impressive on the ball after coming on for Hudson-Odoi on the 68th minute. 6/10

Lamptey: Very late sub for Pedro.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
