Chelsea striker, Olivier Giroud’s contract ends this summer, but the France international is already keen on an exit from the club in the January transfer window.
According to reports, Chelsea have already agreed a £5.5 million deal with Inter Milan for the transfer of Giroud.
According to Sky Sport Italia via Daily Mail, Giroud will undergo a medical with Inter Milan this weekend after the Italian club reached an agreement with Chelsea.
It was Antonio Conte who signed Giroud for Chelsea while as Chelsea manager as he signed the striker from Arsenal in January 2018. Giroud played a key role under Conte in his second season at Stamford Bridge as the Blues went on to lift the FA Cup trophy in that season.
Meanwhile, reports also claim that the Inter Milan boss isn’t only keen on Giroud, but he’s also set to raid his former club for another player that served him well during his time at the Bridge.
With Conte’s Inter looking for wing-back reinforcements this January transfer window, Chelsea loanee Victor Moses who’s currently with Fenerbahce has 18 months left on his Chelsea contract, and has been once again linked with his former head coach.
Conte used Moses to good effect as the 29-year-old served as a right wing-back for the Blues and was a key part of the team that won the Premier League for Chelsea.
Italian reporter Gianluca Di Marzio has claimed that Chelsea have set Moses’ asking price at €10m, but Inter, however would prefer a loan deal.
