It was a comfortable 3-0 win for Chelsea at Stamford Bridge against Burnley on Saturday afternoon with goals from Jorginho, Tammy Abraham and Callum Hudson-Odoi sealing a massive win for the Blues.
Chelsea dominated the game for 90 minutes and it was a good team performance for the Blues.
However, one player dominated proceedings as many tabloids who ran their player ratings for this game agreed that Reece James was the standout player.
The Real Chelsea Fans page gave the 19-year-old a 9/10 rating, and The Sun also rated him a 9/10. The Sun even likened his performance to that of Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold. Football.london also gave him a 9/10 rating, while 90min gave the teenager an 8/10 for his performance.
The Sun wrote about the Chelsea youngster: “What a performance. From right-back he was Chelsea’s most threatening player and looks cut from the same cloth as Trent Alexander-Arnorld – the cross for the goal was one of about a dozen that the Burnley defenders struggled to cope with.
“It’s a shame that England have such a surplus of great players in the position, because he has more than enough talent for that level.”
