Chelsea’s draw against Brighton is one that feels more like a defeat as the Blues got stunned by a late Jahanbakhsh’s overhead kick to give the away side a deserved draw.

Chelsea couldn’t exert their dominion over the Seagulls and were made to pay for it.

A number of Chelsea players couldn’t live up to expectations in this game and we’d look at the player ratings for this fixture across many football outlets for this game.

The Daily Express rated Willian, Tammy Abraham and Mason Mount as the three worst performers for Chelsea against Brighton. Willian got a 4 rating while Mount and Abraham got 5.

For The Sun, Kurt Zouma and Tammy Abraham were rated as the worst players.

For The Real Chelsea Fans, the worst rated player was Tammy Abraham who got a 5/10.

The Sun wrote about Abraham’s performance: “Got the touch on from Zouma’s header to direct the ball towards goal – only for Mooy to deny him in the build up to Azpilicueta’s goal. Too selfish at times and needlessly offside, too as he failed to replicate his heroics from Sunday.”

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.

  1. The technical bench was the worst. Lampard substitutes are very predictable. He has to improve on that. Pulling out Pullisic didn’t make sense at all. He was the only players who new what he was on the pitch for, it’s high time you started substituting Abraham, he doesn’t look for the ball or rather most often he makes difficult for the midfielders to give him balls in space.. Lampard it’s your call to make good decisions after halftime.

Win lose or draw I’m Chelsea til I die. Lampard should drop players who aren’t consistent. Kovacic, mount and Abraham are examples.
