Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham has been linked with a loan move away from the club, with Aston Villa keen on signing the Chelsea striker on a six month loan deal.

Following a serious injury to main striker Wesley against Burnley on Wednesday, Villa are now targeting Batshuayi for the rest of the season.

According to Goal, Villa have made an enquiry regarding the availability of Belgium international Batshuayi, with Dean Smith keen to bring him to Villa Park until the end of the season.

Wesley suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury against Burnley that is set to see him miss the rest of the season.

Meanwhile, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard won’t be keen on letting Batshuayi leave until the club has signed up a replacement.

Also, Sky Sports pundit Kaveh Solhekol has claimed that Chelsea are willing to pay £34m for Lyon striker Moussa Dembele.

Solhekol wrote in a tweet: “Chelsea willing to pay €40m (£34m) for Moussa Dembélé but Lyon don’t want to sell the French striker. One source has told us Chelsea had a €40m bid rejected this morning.”
