Chelsea advanced to the fifth round of the FA Cup after defeating Hull City 2-1 at the KCOM Stadium last weekend.
The Blues will either meet Shrewsbury or Liverpool in the next round, and both sides will have to meet for a replay following a 2-2 draw in the first leg.
Meanwhile, Shrewsbury midfielder Josh Laurent has told the Football Association’s official website that the possibility of meeting Chelsea in the fifth round of the FA Cup will motivate them to beat Liverpool in their fourth round replay next week.
“It’s unbelievable and just shows the magic of the cup, another big game for us,” said the 24-year-old, who won the penalty which sparked Shrewsbury’s comeback.
“In the last round we had a replay against Bristol City and the prospect of playing against Liverpool was a big factor in the result.
“I’m sure it will have the same effect again. Hopefully we can find another hero at Anfield.”
