Chelsea have been linked with a January move for RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner after his impressive performances in the German Bundesliga.
Since joining RB Leipzig in 2016, the 23 year old have scored 84 goals and provided 37 assists in 139 games. This season, he has scored 23 goals and provided 10 assists in 25 games across all competitions.
Amid reports linking him with a January move to Stamford Bridge, Werner insists he isn’t interested in leaving RB Leipzig at the moment but admitted a move to the Premier League appeals to him.
“As of now, I have no desire to look for a move elsewhere,” the 23-year-old told Bild.
On the league he would like to move to when he leaves RB Leipzig, the striker added: “The Premier League is certainly the most interesting league, you have to say. There is a certain flair to watching the English league and playing there.
“But many Germans have also been very successful in Spain, such as Sami Khedira and Mesut Ozil think.”
