Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi scored the first goal as Chelsea beat Hull City 2-1 in the FA Cup on Saturday.
The Belgian striker scored in the sixth minute after a shot from Mason Mount deflected into his path. His attempt was initially blocked, but then ricocheted into to back of the net for the lead.
After his goal against Hull City, Batshuayi tweeted: “Back to the good habits. On to the next round.”
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard revealed after the game that he was pleased with the performance of Batshuayi.
Lampard said: “He gets his goal. I am pleased as a goal scorer and a striker, he wants to score goals and it helps his confidence. I am pleased.
“I have said all season that we can’t just rely on Tammy. Tammy has been scoring regularly. He has given us a lot. Of course, we want Michy firing and scoring goals like he did today and when he trains he needs to stay at that level because today we needed him.”
