We are in the period where the transfer market is open, and Chelsea have been linked with a number of targets in different positions.

Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma has revealed the player that he’d like to sign for the club.

During a Q&A session with Chelsea’s official app The 5th Stand, the French centre-back was asked who would be his first signing for the Blues if he became the manager of the club.

Surprisingly, Zouma didn’t mention names of superstar players that will bolster the club, but rather opted for his elder brother.

“I would say my brother straightaway,” Zouma replied. “He plays in Qatar, a central defender so it would be him and me together at the back!”

The 26-year-old Lionel Zouma is a centre-back who, in fact, plays for Dhofar Club in the Oman Professional League.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have been linked with a move to re-sign Nathan Ake from Bournemouth, with the Blues having sold him for £20m in 2018.
