The Blues have won just one Premier League game in 2020 and are in danger of missing out on a top four finish if performances don’t improve.

Certain players have let the club down during this poor run and they must improve to help Chelsea secure a top four finish at the end of the season.

Here are 3 Chelsea players that must improve to help the Blues secure a top four finish:

1. Kepa Arrizabalaga

The goalkeeper was dropped for the 2-2 draw at Leicester City before the winter break after a series of errors. Arrizabalaga has kept just one clean sheet in the Premier League this year and let the team down in games against Newcastle United and Arsenal.

Willy Caballero isn’t the solution in goal for Chelsea so Arrizabalaga must improve quickly to help the team.

2. Callum Hudson-Odoi

The 19 year impressed after his return from injury but he has struggled for consistency since then. Hudson-Odoi was poor in the 1-1 draw against Newcastle United on New Year day, the 1-0 loss to Newcastle United and the 2-2 draw at Leicester City.

The Blues will need Hudson-Odoi back to his best, especially with Christian Pulisic out injured, to help the club secure a top four finish.

3. Tammy Abraham

The 22 year old striker scored goals for fun in the beginning of the season but he has scored just once in five games this year.

With Frank Lampard having doubts over Michy Batshuayi and Olivier Giroud, Abraham must rediscover his goalscoring form for the Blues to ensure we finish in the top four.
