Tammy Abraham missed the 2-0 defeat to Manchester United on Monday night but the 22 year old has been declared fit ahead of Saturday’s game against Tottenham Hotspur.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has suggested Abraham could start from the bench against Tottenham Hotspur.
“He’s going to want to play, but he has to understand he needs to be fit and firing,” Lampard said of Abraham.
“We have had a period with Tammy where he was injured, came into the team, then missed a game. These things can’t go on forever.
“And there is competition in that area. Olivier is now fit, Michy [Batshuayi] is there. There are choices for me to make.”
