According to Daily Express, Chelsea are considering replacing Frank Lampard with Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone in the summer.

The report claims the Blues are keeping tabs on Diego Simeone’s situation at Atletico Madrid, and could make a managerial change in the summer despite Frank Lampard’s positive contribution at Stamford Bridge.

Simeone’s future at Atletico Madrid looks uncertain after a difficult season so far despite spending big on players last summer.

Atletico Madrid have managed just 10 wins in 24 league games and there is now talk of the Argentine moving on in the summer.

The report also claims Chelsea might consider replacing Lampard in the summer after tensions between Lampard and the board due to the club’s inability to sign players in January.

    What happened to John Terry?

  2. Is roman mad

  3. Chelsea would be much better off dumping the idiotic board… Best advice for them – 1) shut up, 2) stay out of the way

  4. What a load of shit. Stop this fake news. Abromavic gave lampard a 2 year garuntee and he’s been doing amazing so far.

  5. Why?Lampard is still the right track. Just forget the issue of replacing.

  6. Lampard is on the right track the only problem he has is the players are there but he wants to use younger players when all of us know Chelsea is a big club in need of big results. Big games use Giroud then bring in Abraham after the assignment is done.

  7. This is the kind of mentality and action that leaves us struggling.

If lampard is doing well, why bring Simeon who is struggling the other side.

Would consider boycotting Chelsea if Roman didn’t give Lamps his two years. Besides, we are in a great spot considering the strength of Liverpool, with the added bonus of whatever happens to City. Nothing to worry about right now.

  10. I guess Roman just want to hear people’s opinions about Frank performance…he can never replace a struggling manager to a performing one.. UP CHELSEA, UP BLUES, UP FRANK.

  11. Lampard is doing great job but he should not turn the team to England national team .Mount is not a good prayer .

Lampard is doing extremely well,,, the only thing he needs to do is to use experience players,, knowing that Chelsea is a big team and needs big results

  13. I think is a rumor

  14. He should mix up the team with some experienced players to archive better results.

  15. Man city 2 years ban…so I have feeling that pep is coming to Chelsea next summer

Using a younger team his is own doing, to me he his still not the man for the job.

  17. I think Lampard is on a good footing. He should give Michy Batsuayeh some minutes (20 minutes) on the pitch so as to reduce too much pressure on Tammy Abraham. Is good to make any player to be aware that he can be dropped at any moment once there is poor performance. My opinion is that Abramovich should give Lampard sometime again.

What an absolute load of rubbish.
So simeone is struggling after making big signings and we would get rid of Frank? For what? A Manager who has already failed?
Leave Frank alone and let him do his job.

  19. Lampard was a good player but not a good coach. He turning Chelsea into an English matter.
