Stamford Bridge is looking forward to a huge European night on Tuesday, as the Blues play host to German champions Bayern Munich.

Bayern are huge favourites for this game, and Bayern defender Joshua Kimmich has hailed the young Chelsea squad but labelled the Blues as inconsistent.

“A very young squad but some very good players with a lot of talent,” Kimmich told reporters ahead of the clash.

“I think in the last few weeks they haven’t been as consistent as they can be. They are fourth in the table but everyone is in the shadow of Liverpool.

“I expect a great atmosphere tomorrow. We must be brave in how we perform.”

He also admitted that although he hasn’t seen enough of the Blues, he expects his side to be well prepared for this game.

“I haven’t seen many games of Chelsea,” he added. “We’ve got videos to prepare for the game in the hotel.

“But I think you don’t just play one player, it’s a whole team. And we’ll show we have a very good plan for this game.”
