Chelsea failed to land any of their targets during the January transfer window, but the Blues are trying to compensate by preparing ahead of time for next season.

Reports now claim that Chelsea have reached a verbal agreement with Dutch champions Ajax to sign Hakim Ziyech at the end of the season.

The report claims that advanced negotiations have taken place in the last 24 hours and Chelsea have agreed to pay £37.8m for the Morocco international.

Ziyech has been linked with a number of top European clubs, but it seems Chelsea have won the deal.

Chelsea fans have reacted to this news, and the bulk of the Blues fans are happy that Chelsea are trying to get a deal early and also at a bargain price.
