According to The Sun, Chelsea are winning the race to sign Hartlepool’s giant young England youth keeper Brad Young.
The report claims Chelsea have invited the 17 year old goalkeeper for talks ahead of snapping him up from the National League outfit for a six-figure fee.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is keen on signing a goalkeeper to replace Kepa Arrizabalaga in the summer but it is highly unlikely Young will replace Arrizabalaga as he is more of a future option for the club.
The 6ft 2in goalkeeper was released by Sunderland as a kid but has developed into a top prospect.
Unlike Liverpool and Man.city…..Chelsea is very unambiguous. I don’t understand them at all. I don’t know how they expect to win trophies
Lampard should stop thinking about England players because as things are going it shows that only England player are going to be playing for Chelsea I don’t like it
