Chelsea’s capture of Hakim Ziyech has been the talk of the media over the past week as the Blues signed a massive talent in the Moroccan international.
Since completing the transfer to Chelsea (he will head to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season), Ziyech featured in his first game for Ajax against RKC Waalwijk.
Ajax defeated RKC Waalwijk 3-0 on Sunday and Ziyech was subbed off at half-time with the scores at 0-0.
Despite only featuring in the first half of the game, Ziyech had impressive stats as he showed just what he can do.
He made 72% successful pass rate.
He had 2 successful dribbles.
He also had 2 shots with 1 on target.
Ziyech was probably taken off as a precaution for injury having only returned from a slight injury. The 26-year-old is working back to full fitness and Ajax have a Europa League clash against Getafe on Thursday night.
Already, the 26-year-old has a stunning 97 goals and 123 assists in 282 career appearances for Heerenveen, Twente and Ajax across all competitions.
