World’s most expensive goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga was dropped for Chelsea’s 2-2 draw against Leicester City earlier today.
Willy Caballero, who started in goal against Leicester City, insists Chelsea boss Frank Lampard starting him against Leicester City is a lesson to every goalkeeper.
Caballero told BT Sport: “It is our way as a goalkeeper when we don’t have the opportunity to play you have to keep the faith, keep training well and hope the opportunity arrives.
“You have to do properly during the week to be ready for this kind of opportunity.
“It is a lesson for every goalkeeper in the world. We must be ready any time.
“I enjoyed it so much. I am really happy to help the team, to play today.
“I made a few saves but the important thing is that the spirit of the team rescues one point here which is so difficult.”
